The Porch Gallery is back with a Christmas show – Winter Wonders

Kilcreggan’s own mini gallery is preparing to pop up again for its Christmas show, Winter Wonders.

The Porch Gallery at owner Fiona Holland’s home Templeton Cottage on School Road (G84 0HR for satnav) in the village has become a local favourite and the exhibition will run from Friday November 17 to Sunday December 3.

Showcasing work from across Scotland, The Porch’s exhibitors range from highly-collected, nationally-renowned artists through to brand new emerging talent.

“I’m so excited to be bringing The Porch back for a festive show,” said Fiona. “As ever, I’ve been humbled and thrilled to receive such great support from all the artists and makers, as well as keen encouragement from Porch fans, many of whom have been regular visitors from the very beginning, as well as new people who are only just discovering it.

“We all know that times can be particularly tough at the moment, so we really appreciate our incredibly loyal followers and look forward to welcoming lots of new faces, too.

“And we’ll continue to support the RNLI by selling the charity’s own branded Christmas cards, as well as ones of Kilcreggan Pier produced by the local Cove and Kilcreggan fundraising branch.”

The gallery will launch on Friday (November 17) from 2pm to 7.30pm and will be open on both Saturday and Sunday (Nov 18 and 19) from 12 noon to 5.30pm each day.

Thereafter it will open Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 12 noon to 5.30pm until the final day on Sunday December 3.
